In July 2023, the Office of State Assessment released the [https://www.nysed.gov/sites/default/files/programs/state-assessment/5-8-science-educator-guide-2024.pdf Educator Guide to the 2024 Elementary-level (Grade 5) and Intermediate-level (Grade 8) Science Tests]. Below are the 3-5 elementary claims-and-evidence from the educator guide which provide further insight on the types of questions that might appear on the grade 5 state exam.
