Performance Level Descriptions
The performance level descriptions communicate the specific knowledge and skills expected of students in order for them to demonstrate proficiency in each Learning Standard. New York State assessments are designed to classify student performance into one of five levels based on the knowledge and skills the student has demonstrated.
